Police Investigate Fatal Crash on US 60 in Wickenburg
Wickenburg, AZ (September 25, 2025) – One person died in a crash on US 60.
A fatal crash shut down U.S. Route 60 northwest of Phoenix on Thursday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that the collision occurred at milepost 116, about five miles east of Wickenburg, and resulted in one fatality. Authorities did not immediately release further details about the incident.
ADOT urged drivers to expect delays and use alternate routes while investigators cleared the scene. As of 5:30 a.m. Friday, officials reopened the highway to traffic.
