Ault, CO (June 23, 2025) – One person died in a two-vehicle crash on Weld County Road 31 and Colorado Highway 14 on Monday afternoon.

The Colorado State Patrol reported the collision around 3 p.m. and shut down Colo. 14 from Weld County Road 29 to Weld County Road 33 by 3:20 p.m. 

As of 6:30 p.m., the highway remained closed, with no estimated time for reopening.

As of Monday evening, authorities had not released information about the age or gender of the deceased, and it was still unclear whether anyone else sustained injuries in the crash.
