Austin, TX (August 12, 2025) – A person was killed and two others were injured following a traffic crash on S 1st Street Monday afternoon.

It fatal collision happened at the intersection with W William Cannon Drive.

Investigators said the occupant of the vehicle died in the accident.

Meanwhile, one of the injured parties was a pedestrian that was hit by debris.

Police officers closed the South First Street northbound from Buckingham Place to William Cannon Drive eastbound and advised drivers to use alternate routes.
