1 Dead, Mikael Mezhlumya and Edik Mezhlumya Hurt in Lancaster Auto Accident

 
LANCASTER, CA (June 23, 2020) – Late Sunday afternoon, a man died and two others sustained injuries in truck crash on Avenue H.
 
The incident occurred at 5:41 p.m. on Avenue H and 90th Street East, CHP Officer M. Rogers said.
 
According to Rogers, a 34-year-old Glendale man driving an eastbound pickup truck on Avenue H drove into the path of a northbound truck on 90th Street East. Shortly after, the northbound truck hit the eastbound truck.
 
Due to the impact, the northbound truck driver, a Lancaster man, succumbed to injuries. The authorities are withholding the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the driver of the eastbound truck, Mikael Mezhlumyan, to the hospital with moderate injuries. They also transported his passenger, 31-year-old Edik Mezhlumya, with major injuries.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash. However, the police do not believe that alcohol nor drugs played a role in the crash.
 
Moreover, the California Highway Patrol closed the intersection for multiple hours.
