Serious Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash on Joe Battle Boulevard in East El Paso

El Paso, TX (March 15, 2025) – One person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Joe Battle Boulevard.

Reportedly, a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, March 15, in far East El Paso left at least one person seriously injured.

The collision occurred around 1:25 a.m. at the intersection of southbound Joe Battle Boulevard and Edgemere Boulevard. 

Authorities have not confirmed the total number of injured individuals but stated that their Special Traffic Investigations Unit is actively investigating the crash.

A spokesperson from the El Paso Fire Department reported that paramedics transported one person with serious injuries (Code 3) and another with non-life-threatening injuries (Code 1) to a local hospital for treatment.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) confirmed that Joe Battle Boulevard remains closed in both directions, along with the exit from Loop 375 South near the crash site. 

Officials have not provided an estimated reopening time.

Authorities continue to investigate, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
