FONTANA, CA (July 26, 2022) – Sunday night, a person died in a DUI crash on 10 Freeway and Sierra Avenue in Fontana.
 
The incident occurred at 11:49 p.m. on 10 Freeway, east of Sierra Avenue. According to reports, a Buick headed west on 10 Freeway at an unknown speed. Then, it hit a person walking within the lanes of traffic upon involvement in a prior solo crash at Sierra Avenue.
 
Afterward, the crash caused the third crash when a third vehicle collided with the first two wrecked cars.
 
Then, responders declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the Buick driver on suspicion of DUI.
