Seriously Injured in a Dump Truck Crash? Sweet Lawyers Can Help
A head-on crash involving a dump truck can cause devastating injuries in seconds. Large commercial vehicles are heavy, powerful, and difficult to control when a tire failure or mechanical problem occurs.
When a dump truck crosses a median and strikes another vehicle, the occupants of the smaller vehicle may suffer serious injuries, emotional trauma, and long-term medical challenges.
At Sweet Lawyers, we understand how overwhelming truck accidents can be for injured victims and their families. A serious crash can lead to hospitalization, surgeries, rehabilitation, missed work, vehicle loss, and mounting medical bills.
When a commercial vehicle is involved, victims may also face complex insurance issues and questions about maintenance, inspections, tire condition, driver conduct, company responsibility, and whether the crash could have been prevented.
Our team helps injured victims protect their rights after serious truck crashes. We assist with reviewing accident reports, gathering evidence, communicating with insurance companies, and helping clients pursue compensation for accident-related losses.
Important evidence may include DPS reports, vehicle maintenance records, tire inspection history, driver logs, company safety records, witness statements, crash scene photos, roadway evidence, medical records, and any available dash camera or traffic footage.
Insurance companies may try to move quickly after a serious crash, but victims should not accept a settlement before understanding the full extent of their injuries and future care needs.
A personal injury claim may help recover compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, rehabilitation, future treatment, and other damages related to the collision.
