Travis County, TX (March 7, 2026) – A person was injured in an ISD School bus crash on US 290 early Thursday morning.

It was past 7 a.m. when the collision happened on the westbound lane of the freeway and Fitzhugh Road in Austin.

Troopers said the vehicle scraped the side of a school bus while it was stopped at a light. 

Four students were riding the bus during the crash, but none of them sustained injuries.
