11 Injured in Metro Bus Collision on N Rosemead Boulevard [South El Monte, CA]

South El Monte, CA (December 19, 2024) – At least 11 people were hurt following a Metro bus collision on N Rosemead Boulevard Wednesday.

The collision between the bus and a big rig happened on Klingerman Street. 

Investigators said the Metro bus crashed into the big rig carrying sheets of wood.

Immediately, the emergency rescuers responded to the crash scene and transported at least 11 people with moderate to critical injuries.

At least one person needed to be free from being trapped in a vehicle.

The LA County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the traffic accident.
