13-Year-Old Injured in Bicycle Accident on Val Vista Drive [Gilbert, AZ]

Gilbert, AZ (February 8, 2024) – A 13-year-old boy sustained injuries following a bicycle accident on Val Vista Drive Tuesday morning.

The traffic accident happened before 8 p.m. near Elliot Road wherein the 13-year-old was hit by a truck while riding his e-bike.

The rescuers rushed the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

Officers are still investigating this accident and don’t consider impairment as a factor in the crash.
