15-Year-Old Sustains Broken Leg in DUI Crash on Boone Avenue [Spokane, WA]

Spokane, WA (November 7, 2025) – A 15-year-old was hurt following a DUI crash on Boone Avenue on Halloween night.

It was around 10:30 p.m. when the collision happened on Maple Street.

SPD officers said the teen was struck by a vehicle and was rushed to the hospital. The teen broke her leg and required surgery.

According to the accident report, the driver admitted that he had been at Twigs but denied drinking. An police officer then conducted a field sobriety test on the driver said the suspect showed signs of impairment. 

The driver is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
