AUSTIN, TX (February 15, 2026) – Saturday morning, a person died in a brutal 18-wheeler crash on Interstate 35 Frontage Road near FM 1327.

The incident involving an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle happened at 4:19 a.m. on the 13000 block of the southbound Interstate 35 frontage road near FM 1327.

One person was killed in the crash, police said. No other injuries were reported.

Investigators remained at the scene Saturday morning, and the roadway was expected to reopen within a few hours.
