2 Airlifted in Vehicle Crash on Highway 20 [Lake County, CA]

Lake County, CA (March 10, 2026) – Two people sustained major injuries following a vehicle crash on Highway 20 Sunday night.

The authorities received the crash report past 10 p.m. near mile marker 34.5, on the eastbound highway.

Initial reports stated that a vehicle crossed the center line and crashed.

Moreover, responding rescuers extricated one person from each of the vehicle and airlifted both patients to a hospital.

Officers said both patients were seriously injured.

In the meantime, CHP is conducting a further investigation onto the accident.
