2 People Airlifted in Disastrous 4-Vehicle Crash on US 63 and Virgil Faulkner Drive [Rolla, MO]

Injuries Reported in Rolla Multi-Vehicle Accident on US 63 and Virgil Faulkner Drive

ROLLA, MO (July 20, 2026) – Friday night, two people were airlifted after a disastrous 4-vehicle crash on US 63 and Virgil Faulkner Drive.

The incident involving four vehicles happened on US 63 and Virgil Faulkner Drive.

Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 63, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a 16-year-old boy driving a Chevrolet pickup truck crossed the center line near Virgil Faulkner Drive and sideswiped a semitruck traveling in the opposite direction before colliding with a Chevrolet sedan and a Kia sedan.

A 7-year-old girl riding in the pickup was airlifted to University Hospital. The 16-year-old driver and a 10-year-old boy in the pickup sustained moderate injuries.

Troopers said the teenage driver was not wearing a seat belt, while the two children were restrained.

The driver of the Kia, a 54-year-old woman from Licking, suffered serious injuries and was also airlifted to University Hospital. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The 43-year-old driver and 41-year-old passenger in the Chevrolet sedan sustained minor and moderate injuries, respectively. Neither was wearing a seat belt.

All other injured victims were transported to Phelps Health. The driver of the semitruck, a 49-year-old Florida man, was not reported injured.

The Chevrolet pickup, Chevrolet sedan, and Kia sedan were totaled, while the semitruck sustained moderate damage.
