2 Airlifted in Speeding Rollover Crash on I-5 [Yermo, CA]

Yermo, CA (June 12, 2025) – Two people were injured following a speeding rollover crash on I-5 Wednesday morning.

The solo-vehicle crash happened minutes before 1 a.m. on June 11 on the northbound freeway near the Midway Rest Area exit.

CHP said the driver was driving reckless at a high speed prior to the rollover crash.

The two people inside the vehicle were extricated. One of them were airlifted to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, while the second patient was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

California Highway Patrol Barstow Office is investigating this collision.
