2-Car Traffic Collision on 51st Avenue Led to Injuries [Laveen, AZ]

Laveen, AZ (July 14, 2026) — Five people suffered injuries, including four who remain in critical condition, following a two-vehicle collision on 51st Avenue in Laveen on Sunday evening.

Emergency crews responded around 7 p.m. to the intersection of 51st Avenue and Estrella Drive after receiving reports of a crash involving multiple victims. When firefighters arrived, they found two heavily damaged vehicles, with three occupants trapped inside one of them.

Rescue personnel used specialized extrication equipment to safely remove the trapped victims before paramedics transported all five patients to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Authorities reported that one adult woman and three adult men sustained critical injuries, while another adult man was hospitalized in stable condition.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
