2-Car Collision on Kester Avenue Claims a Life [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (November 22, 2025) — Early Wednesday, a deadly collision on Kester Avenue in Van Nuys left one driver dead and another hospitalized.

Los Angeles police responded to Kester Avenue and Saticoy Street around 12:37 a.m. after witnesses reported a two-car crash.

According to investigators, a Toyota Prius traveling north on Kester collided with a Scion heading east on Saticoy. The Prius driver died at the scene. Los Angeles Fire Department crews rescued the Scion’s driver from the wreck and took him to the hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
