2-Car Collision on Route D Injures 2 People

Two Bonne Terre Residents Injured in St. Francois County Intersection Crash

St. Francois County, MO (June 5, 2025) — Two Bonne Terre residents were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Route D in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection with Route O around 9:49 a.m. when a northbound 2015 Ford C-Max failed to yield to a southbound 2021 Acura TLX. The vehicles collided head-on, causing extensive damage to both.

The 73-year-old driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries and was transported to Parkland Health Center for treatment. A 75-year-old female passenger in the Ford suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Authorities reported that the 35-year-old Acura driver from Sedgewickville was not injured.

Both vehicles were declared total losses and removed from the scene.
