Horrific 2-Car Collision on South Garfield Avenue Claims a Life [Paramount, CA]

Paramount, CA (July 8, 2025) Early Sunday morning, a person was killed after a horrific 2-car collision on South Garfield Avenue.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 2:06 a.m. at the intersection with East Alondra Boulevard.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene and found one person already deceased. No one else was taken to the hospital.

Moreover, the authorities are searching for a driver who fled the scene.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash involved a pickup truck and a sedan. One of the drivers ran from the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Investigators have not released further details and continue to search for the suspect.
