2-Car Crash on Alcan Street Injures 2 People [El Paso, TX]

El Paso, TX (July 25, 2026) — Two people were hospitalized Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash on Alcan Street in Northeast El Paso.

Both were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Let’s Avoid Traffic Accidents

Avoiding auto accidents involves paying attention and practicing safe driving methods. And as always, you should follow the speed and traffic laws, and don’t text (or use your phone in any way) behind the wheel.

Keep a safe trailing distance to be able to stop, if necessary.

Do not drink and drive, and never get behind the wheel if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you are tired.

Watch your mirrors and use your turn signals, and check your blind spots, before changing lanes or making a turn. Drive calmly and patiently, especially in heavy traffic or bad weather.

When you drive responsibly and remain alert, you help prevent accidents and keep everyone on the road safe.

Serious crashes can happen in an instant. Drivers should remain attentive, obey traffic laws, and slow down when approaching intersections to help prevent collisions. Safe driving habits protect not only you but everyone sharing the road.

A Personal Injury Claim Could Help

A personal injury case is critical after a car accident, especially when there is an injured party caused by another driver’s carelessness. Automobile accidents can lead to painful physical injuries, emotional distress, and financial ruin. Medical expenses, lost income, and expenses for long-term recovery don’t take long to add up. One option for reaching a fair resolution to these damages is a personal injury lawsuit.

Filing a court action holds the wrongdoer accountable. It also forces insurance providers to offer a reasonable settlement, rather than a low-ball offer that may not be enough to cover all of your losses. In too many instances, the insurers who shouldn’t be in the business of trying to maximize their profits often look for ways to minimize their payouts. And your rights will be protected with the personal injury claim throughout this process.

Also, in a personal injury lawsuit, you may be able to recover noneconomic damages such as pain and suffering or loss of enjoyment of life. It’s often no less important than your medical bills. In suing, you also encourage safer driving by reinforcing the accountability of reckless or negligent drivers.

If you do retain an experienced personal injury lawyer, the case is likely to proceed much more smoothly, and not only will you be led through the legal process, you will likely have a better chance of a positive outcome as well.
