2-Car Crash on Broadway Injures 31-Year-Old Woman [Eureka, CA]

Eureka, CA (September 2, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash on Broadway in south Eureka sent a 31-year-old woman to the hospital with a head injury Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to the collision near Broadway and McCullens Avenue around 1:35 p.m. The vehicles involved included a silver Ford Explorer and a black Jeep Renegade. City Ambulance also responded to the scene.

The crash caused significant traffic delays, with southbound lanes heavily congested and some vehicles stopped. Northbound traffic also moved slowly as emergency crews worked in the area.
