2-Car Crash on Highland Avenue Injures 2 People [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (May 17, 2025) — Early Friday morning, two people suffered critical injuries following a serious two-vehicle crash on Highland Avenue in Hancock Park, according to authorities.

The collision happened around 1:40 a.m. at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Third Street. Investigators said a black Hyundai and a gray Honda collided, causing severe damage to both vehicles.

Officials reported that one person became trapped inside the Hyundai after the crash. Emergency crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department rescued the victim from the wreckage.
