One Injured in Harrison County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 136
New Hampton, MO (July 22, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash on Highway 136 in Harrison County on Monday evening left one person injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision happened shortly before 8 p.m. on U.S. Highway 136 in New Hampton.
Reports say that a 56-year-old man driving a 2022 GMC Sierra attempted to turn left onto West Taylor Street when an eastbound 2012 Ford Escape driven by a 49-year-old woman from Albany struck the passenger side of the pickup.
Emergency responders transported the pickup driver to a nearby hospital with injuries. The driver of the Ford Escape was not hurt. Authorities reported that both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. In keeping with its current policy, the agency did not release the names of those involved.
