2-Car Crash on Highway 60 Injures 81-Year-Old Woman [Dexter, MO]

Dexter, MO (April 30, 2026) — On Monday afternoon, an 81-year-old woman from Bloomfield suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 60 in Stoddard County.

The collision happened along U.S. 60, just east of Dexter, when the woman, driving northbound in a Jeep Compass, entered the path of an eastbound vehicle. The impact left her critically hurt.

The other driver, a 21-year-old woman from Bloomfield, also sustained serious injuries. A 22-year-old male passenger in her vehicle suffered minor injuries. Emergency responders transported all three victims to a hospital in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
