2-Car Crash on Highway 63 Led to Injuries [Maries County, MO]

Maries County, MO (July 8, 2026) — On Monday afternoon, a 20-year-old man from Rolla suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 63, north of County Road 333 in Maries County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 35-year-old woman from Columbia was driving a 2010 Honda Pilot southbound when she attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield to an oncoming 2001 Ford Ranger traveling northbound. The vehicles collided, leaving both with extensive damage and declared total losses.

Emergency crews airlifted the Rolla man to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The Columbia woman sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center. Authorities said the woman was wearing a seatbelt, while it remains unclear whether the pickup driver was restrained.

The crash remains under investigation.
