2-Car Crash on Route AA Kills Holts Summit Man [Callaway County, MO]

Callaway County, MO (September 18, 2026) — On Wednesday, an 85-year-old Holts Summit man died after a two-vehicle crash on Route AA east of Kelly Drive in Callaway County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 24-year-old Columbia man driving a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu struck the rear of a golf cart traveling eastbound. The impact ejected the 85-year-old golf cart driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene at about 4:13 p.m.

The Malibu driver was not injured. Authorities transported the victim’s body to Parker-Millard Funeral Home. The crash remains under investigation.
