Monroe, MO (August 26, 2025) – A 46-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman lost their lives following a Highway 154 big rig crash Saturday evening.

Officers said the man and the woman were riding a car that failed to yield and drove in the path of a big rig.

The two car occupants were killed in the collision and were declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old big rig driver was not hurt in the crash.
