2 Dead in Wrong-Way Crash on Dallas North Tollway [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (May 19, 2025) – Two people have been killed in a wrong-way crash on Dallas North Tollway early Sunday morning.

It was around 4:30 a.m. when the collision happened on the southbound lanes of the highway, north of I-635, near The Galleria.

Investigators said a 2020 Dodge Durango was traveling north in the southbound lanes and struck a 2018 Mercedes CLA250 head-on.

Responding officers declared one person dead at the scene and three others were rushed to local hospitals. One the patients later succumbed to their injuries.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Durango driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. 

Texas DPS suspect intoxication played a role in the collision.
