2 Die in Traffic Collision on Baptist Church Road [Coolidge, AZ]

Coolidge, AZ (November 8, 2022) On Monday afternoon, a traffic collision on Baptist Church Road claimed the life of 2 people and injured at least 1 person.

Coolidge police say that the 3-vehicle crash happened at around 4 p.m. at the intersection with State Route 87.

Reports say that 3 vehicles collided and a U-haul truck caught fire due to the crash. Officials say that 5 people were involved in the traffic collision.

Authorities say that 2 people on a vehicle died in the collision. Additionally, another occupant of the same vehicle sustained injuries.

Meanwhile, officials did not provide the status of the 2 other people involved.

Furthermore, Arizona DOT closed the highway from Signal Peak Road to Skousen Road.

Police are investigating the fatal crash and have not released additional information at this time.
