JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (June 29, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a crippling UTV crash on 400 Road and Route BB sent two people to the hospital.

The incident happened on 400 Road, east of Route BB.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a utility terrain vehicle driven by a 15-year-old Warrensburg girl went out of control on 400 Road east of Route BB before leaving the roadway.

The teen driver sustained moderate injuries, while her 17-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries.

Both were transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital, with one flown by Life Flight and the other taken by ambulance.
