2 People Hospitalized after Fiery Rollover Crash on Route 50

Injuries Reported in Johnson County Auto Accident on Route 50 and 1801 Road

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (March 16, 2026) – Sunday morning, a fiery rollover crash on Route 50 and 1801 Road sent 5 people to the hospital.

The incident happened on Route 50 and 1801 Road.

Troopers said an 18-year-old woman from Sedalia was driving a car eastbound near 1801 Road when it struck a trailer being towed by another vehicle and overturned.

The driver suffered serious injuries, while a passenger in the car sustained moderate injuries. Both were transported by Johnson County Ambulance to separate hospitals.

Authorities said the driver of the truck towing the trailer was not injured.
