Police Investigate After Tesla Crash on Branford Street in Pacoima

Pacoima, CA (January 23, 2026) – Two people sustained injuries early Friday morning after a Tesla crash on Branford Street near the end of a freeway offramp in Pacoima.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded shortly after midnight to the 13000 block of West Branford Street, where a white Tesla reportedly exited the 5 Freeway, veered off the ramp, and slammed through a fence before coming to rest inside the living room of a single-family home.

Video footage from the scene showed the Tesla embedded in the structure, with debris scattered and damage visible both inside and outside the residence. 

First responders confirmed that two individuals were transported to a local hospital. 

Authorities have not yet clarified whether the injured parties were occupants of the vehicle or residents inside the home at the time of the crash.

Fortunately, the home did not catch fire, though emergency crews were called to evaluate the structural integrity of the building. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and officials have not confirmed whether impairment played a role.
