MECCA, CA (May 22, 2022) – Saturday morning, two people sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 86 near Avenue 62.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened at around 6:03 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 86, south of Avenue 62.
 
Reports revealed that two Highway 86 south of Avenue 62 collided head-on for still unknown reasons.
 
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the injured parties from both vehicles. Then, paramedics rushed one person with major injuries to a hospital via helicopter and another by a ground ambulance.
