MARSHALL, TX (November 5, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a disastrous flatbed truck crash at Salt Pond and Yerby injured 2 people.

The incident involving a flatbed truck and an SUV happened at Salt Pond and Yerby.

Detective Sgt. Roger Gibson said in a news release that a flatbed truck entered an intersection and failed to yield to a southbound SUV.

The people involved were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment, though the extent of their injuries wasn’t disclosed.

The SUV driver was arrested for driving while revoked and later released pending a warrant application.
