Injuries Reported in Jurupa Valley Traffic Crash on Etiwanda Avenue and Jurupa Road

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (March 18, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a fiery auto accident on Etiwanda Avenue and Jurupa Road injured 2 motorists.

The incident happened at 1:35 p.m. on Etiwanda Avenue and Jurupa Road, a mile east of Interstate 15, said the Riverside County Fire Department.

Fire crews responded to the intersection and found two vehicles heavily damaged in the middle of the roadway.

A fire broke out in the engine compartment of one vehicle after the crash but was extinguished before firefighters arrived, reportedly by deputies or bystanders.

Authorities said neither person had to be extricated. One driver suffered moderate injuries, while the other had minor injuries. Both were taken to Riverside Community Hospital in stable condition, and it was not immediately clear if any injuries included burns.

Deputies are continuing to investigate what caused the collision.
