2 People Injured in Alarming Car Crash on Highway 100

Injuries Reported in Franklin County Auto Accident on Highway 100 and St Johns Road

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO (April 30, 2026) – Early Wednesday morning, an alarming car crash on Highway 100 and St Johns Road injured two people.

The incident happened at 1:07 a.m. on Highway 100, west of St Johns Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser crossed into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 41-year-old man from Washington, Missouri, and the driver of the Mercedes, a 22-year-old woman from St. Ann, Missouri, both sustained serious injuries and were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Troopers said the St. Ann driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, while the Washington driver was not.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
