Two People Hospitalized After Crash on US 54 North in El Paso

El Paso, TX (September 26, 2025) – Two people sustained injuries in a crash on US 54 North.

A crash on U.S. 54 in Northeast El Paso sent two people to the hospital Friday morning and caused major traffic delays, officials said.

The El Paso Fire Department reported that the collision happened around 11 a.m. on U.S. 54 North at McCombs. 

Emergency crews transported two people to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Texas Department of Transportation confirmed that all lanes at U.S. 54 North and McCombs were closed for several hours. 

Officials reopened the highway at about 1:30 p.m., restoring traffic flow to the area.

The crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
