One Person Critical After Crash on State Route 247 in Lucerne Valley

Lucerne Valley, CA (September 29, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on State Route 247 critically injured one person and left another with non-life-threatening injuries on Monday afternoon.

The collision was reported around 1:10 p.m. on September 29, 2025. According to San Bernardino County Fire, firefighters arrived to find one vehicle overturned with a driver trapped inside.

CHP logs indicate a white Dodge pickup collided with a Ford F-150, which came to rest on its side. 

The Ford’s passenger, a man in his 40s, managed to exit the vehicle before emergency crews arrived. 

Firefighters extricated the driver, who suffered critical injuries.

Due to the severity of the crash, firefighters requested an air ambulance to land at Pioneer Park to transport the victim.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
