Two People Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Ventura Freeway in Encino

Encino, CA (November 13, 2025) -Two individuals were hospitalized following a six-vehicle crash on Ventura Freeway in Encino on Thursday morning. 

The crash occurred around 11:50 a.m. near White Oak Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Aerial footage from ABC7 showed significant damage across multiple vehicles involved in the crash. 

Early reports suggest that one of the drivers may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the collision, though this has not been officially confirmed.

Emergency crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded quickly to the scene. Spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton confirmed that two people were transported to a nearby hospital. 

At this time, details regarding their conditions, ages, or identities have not been disclosed.

The crash prompted authorities to close three northbound lanes of the freeway for cleanup and investigation. 

The closures caused temporary traffic delays in the area, but all lanes were reopened by 1:35 p.m., per the CHP.
