Injuries Reported in Houston Auto Accident on 245 W Mt Houston

HOUSTON, TX (October 2, 2025) – Thursday night, a startling fiery crash on 245 W Mt Houston injured 2 people.

The crash occurred at 8:50 p.m. on 245 W Mt Houston.

Northwest Fire Department, Precinct 1, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a fiery crash with people trapped inside.

When crews arrived, they found a white sedan on fire, but all occupants had already gotten out. The second vehicle involved had at least four people inside, including a mother and her two children. Both adults were trapped and had to be extricated.

Firefighters freed two adults in about 10 minutes. They were transported as stable traumas. The children were uninjured but were also transported with their mother so the family could remain together.

The second vehicle also caught fire, though no injuries were reported from it. Reports said that all inbound lanes remain closed as Precinct 1 investigates the crash.
