2 Dead in La Paz County Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 10 near Quartzsite

LA PAZ COUNTY, AZ (November 5, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a devastating 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Quartzsite killed 2 people.

The incident involving three vehicles occurred at about 4:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Quartzsite.

Authorities said two people were killed in the crash, though their ages and genders have not been released. It’s unclear if anyone else was injured.

Troopers have not determined what caused the crash or if speed or impairment played a role.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the crash led to an hours-long closure near milepost 44, about a mile west of the Pride Travel Center in Salome. I-10 has since reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
