2 Dead in Dallas Auto Accident on US 75 and Valleydale Drive

DALLAS, TX (May 20, 2026) – Tuesday morning, a devastating wrong-way crash on US 75 and Valleydale Drive killed 2 people.

The incident happened just after 1:00 a.m. on US 75 and Valleydale Drive.

Emergency crews initially responded to reports of a crash involving at least two vehicles with several people trapped.

Investigators later determined that a sedan was traveling the wrong way on U.S. 75 when it collided with an SUV. Police said the sedan driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said both the driver and passenger of the SUV were transported to a hospital, where the passenger later died. The SUV driver remains in critical condition.

Traffic was diverted to the U.S. 75 service road at Royal Lane for several hours while police investigated the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
