Injuries Reported As ATV Crashes Over a Cliff in Kennewick

Kennewick, WA (August 5, 2025) – Two men were injured in a State Route 397 ATV crash Wednesday night.

The authorities responded on July 30 to the crash scene near Bofer Canyon Road.

Witnesses said two men rode off the top of a 30-foot cliff on their ATV and fell to the bottom. Both men sustained major injuries, with one of them suffering from compound fractures on both arms.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the injured men to an area hospital.

Troopers said neither of the ATV riders was wearing a helmet during the crash.
