Cedar Pass, CA (February 9, 2025) – 2 people were rescued after the Cedar Pass horrific vehicle accident Friday evening.

According to authorities, emergency crews responded to a vehicle rescue, after a car slid off the road, leaving two people in need of assistance.

Modoc County Sheriff’s Deputies worked alongside the California Highway Patrol, Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department, Lake City Volunteer Fire Department, and Surprise Valley Ambulance to rescue both occupants.

Paramedics treated both individuals for minor injuries at the scene.
