2 People Hurt in Disastrous Crash on Herndon Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (July 24, 2026) — Two people were hospitalized Wednesday night after a police pursuit ended in a crash on Herndon Avenue in northwest Fresno.

According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to stop a speeding vehicle around 11 p.m. Instead of pulling over, the driver continued until the vehicle crashed into a fence near the intersection of Herndon and Marks avenues.

Emergency responders treated the two occupants at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital. Officials have not released the extent of their injuries or additional details about the incident.
