3 People Hospitalized After ISD Bus Crash on U.S. 59 in Livingston
LIVINGSTON, TX (May 14, 2026)— Two students and a bus driver were taken to a hospital Thursday after a Livingston ISD school bus crashed into a road post on U.S. 59.
According to Livingston ISD, the crash happened on the feeder road in front of St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Hospital in Livingston.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and evaluated every student on the bus. The district also contacted the students’ parents after the crash.
Officials said paramedics transported two students and the bus driver to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The remaining students were moved to another bus and safely transported to their campus, according to the district.
Authorities have not released additional details about what caused the bus to strike the road post or the extent of the injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
