16-Year-old Boys Hospitalized After Crash on Route B in Mississippi County

Mississippi County, MO (December 17, 2025) — Two teenagers suffered injuries Wednesday afternoon after a pickup truck crash on Route B in Mississippi County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers reported that a 2015 Ford F-150 traveled northbound on Route B, about one mile north of Dogwood, when the driver left the roadway. The truck then overturned.

Authorities said two 16-year-old boys from East Prairie sustained injuries in the crash. They later traveled by private vehicle to an area hospital for treatment. 

Officials have not released additional details about the cause of the crash, and the incident was documented in an online MSHP report.
