Frightening 2-Vehicle Collision on Route B Led to Injuries [Boone County, MO]

Boone County, MO (August 29, 2025) On Thursday morning, a frightening 2-vehicle collision on Route B left two people injured.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the shocking collision happened around 8:10 a.m. at Route B and Oakland Church Road.

Reports say that the collision involved a Jeep and a semi-truck. Officials say that a 51-year-old Moberly man driving a 2014 Jeep Compass failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2024 International LT Series semi-truck.

The Jeep driver and his passenger, a 41-year-old woman from St. Charles, suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics transported both to University Hospital for treatment.

The semi-truck driver was not hurt. Troopers confirmed that both Jeep occupants had been wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
