Violent 2-Vehicle Collision on Sheldon Road Claims a Life [Elk Grove, CA]

Elk Grove, CA (April 24, 2025) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon in a horrific 2-vehicle collision on Sheldon Road.

According to Elk Grove Police, the tragic collision happened around 3:50 p.m. on the 8100 block of Sheldon Road.

Reports say that the 23-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with an SUV.

Authorities say that the SUV was making a left turn when the motorcyclist, who was traveling eastbound, struck the vehicle.

First responders transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.

The SUV’s driver and a rear passenger were uninjured and are cooperating with authorities. The crash remains under investigation.
