Driver Dies After Semi-Truck Crashes Into Lexus on 60 Freeway in Chino

Chino, CA (September 24, 2026) — On Monday morning, a driver died after a Lexus-semi-truck collision on State Route 60 WB in Chino.

The fatal crash happened around 6:36 a.m., about a mile west of Central Avenue and roughly 40 minutes after another deadly collision involving a motorcycle near Mountain Avenue.

According to preliminary California Highway Patrol information, the semi-truck traveled up an embankment before striking the Lexus. One person was taken to a hospital and later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
